The PURFLEET/TAREE LOCAL ABORIGINAL LAND COUNCIL was constituted in accordance with the provisions of the Aboriginal Land Rights Act, 1983 as amended and administers the relevant provisions of that Act as they apply to the functions listed under Aims and Objectives. This Act provides that the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs may, by notice published in the Government Gazette, constitute an area as an Aboriginal Land Council Area. SERVICES OF THE COUNCIL
